Nothing has more heart ♥♥♥♥♥
Every song on here has been my favourite song on here and now they’re all my favourite song on here.
The love put into this album comes thru your speakers and your headphones & into ur soul. You can hear him smiling and crying in the words he’s telling u the truth and you can feel it when you listen. These beats sound like they came from all your best memories as a child, they give you the right feeling to appreciate everything better, all feelings, all people, all weather, all the world.
Love this album, love MIKE, love u.

Perfect ★★★★★
I think it’s about the end. Art is expression and they were thinking a lot about the end so that is expressed in the art. There is much more detail to it than that but that's the core of it.
This album and all the art connected to it (including amnesiac) captures my spirit entirely and that’s why I feel so connected to it. I feel like it makes it ok to see the world like this and to be like this, then it shows the beauty in everything from that lens (even though it was 20+ years ago, which is quite amazing).
They were concerned with the coming climate crisis, the Kosovo war, the Rwandan genocide, the stress and pressure of ok computer’s reception, their personal lives (which I won’t mind for their privacy), global political tension (which led to 9/11, then the “war on terror”), and general political injustice, mostly pertaining to class.
I recommend that you look into all their art from this era (books, the kid a amnesia exhibition, videos, demos, archived website, etc. - many accessible through the Radiohead Public Library on the web), all their interviews from this era, the book NO LOGO by NAOMI KLEIN (particularly influential to the band at this time), the coming global collapse, and then out at the world from a big hill. But most importantly . . . listen to the album!

This album totally embodies curent day 2000s nostalgia aesthetics but in a way where youre not stuck looking back, youre looking forward with the spirit of the past just behind you which is 100 times better. It fills my soul and brings me closer to my inner child. Also its great beats & lovely melodys with heartfelt lyrics set to a mind clearing Frutiger Aero style ambience.
Genre wise its super nyc/uk garage/house from a true child of the internet age with really nice brockhampton ginger style pop expression bringing it all to the surface. Takes me right back to the back seat of my dads car, garage radio beating under the sound of the road, orange stretlights and red rear lights all flying in the night but at the same time its the most current album ever for the post-modern world of hyper-spesific context dependent internet culture where people just want to dance but just cant -dont want to- leave everything else at the door.
This album is more than the music (even though thats all it needed!). I found Swami Sound through a gum.mp3 retweet of some video which is now dissapeared, him in chainmail headdress. Maybe it was the album trailer. ----i want to analyise the visual identity of this project which i cant do off the top of my head so wait a few days for me to research and think.,.
IM STILL WRITING THIS 11/11/24
